Stainless steel is a metal with limitless applications because of its many positive attributes including a resistance to staining and corrosion, low maintenance, relatively inexpensive, and its familiar luster. The alloy is milled into sheets, plates, bars, wire, and tubing. Stainless steel is 100% recyclable and an average stainless steel object is composed of about 60% recycled material, 35% coming from manufacturing process, and 25% originating from end-of-life products.
